A book on Freddie Foxxx/Bumpy Knuckles´ criminal life?

Quote:
Yes he and I used to do security together we both trained at When world's collide. Somebody wrote a book on his life but it was done without using names basically it was about his crimey life not his rap career. I'm mentioned in the book as well as several infamous Brooklyn personalites

Sunny skate video sunday

OK, so a friend of mine reminded me of the old skate video 'ban this' by powell peralta, which had me thinking......enough to end eventually up with a blog post. I was reminded of the part with Ray Barbee doing some street skating and thought about how super channel had broadcasted the whole 'ban this' video in parts, so that when I finally got ahold of 'ban this' that I had heard so much about, I found that I already had it on video! Well the parts with actual skating anyway, but who needs stuff like Stacy Peralta's blabbering..

Here's the bit with Ray Barbee skating, which was a big, big favourite with me and my skating partner at the time..

The parts with freestyle skating where great too, especially the one with the hip hop beat.. Yep, I do like the junkyard band.

Oh yeah, and about freestyle skating.. I kind of think of it as the (most) hip hop style of skateboarding.. It's a bit like scratching a record, spinning on your head or something...don't you think?

I also came to think about this old show that I had completely forgotten about since years and years; SK8-TV which my friend with a satellite dish could pick up, and we would record.

Here's Ray Barbee on SK8-TV

I never liked Skatemaster Tate though, even though he made (wack) rap records, or probably because of them. Not even as people seemed to think of him as being really cool, and he even got a shout out from boo-yaa T.R.I.B.E, whom I was a huge fan of at the time.

So yeah, today's a skate video-sunday. Pretty much.
